Cardiac Arrhythmia or CA is basically a disruption of the normal beating of a heart. This is not rare as you might think it is. In fact, many individuals who has this is not aware that they have it. Although in some cases, it can be a sign of a serious problem which requires immediate treatment and intervention.

In a healthy heart, the beat is somewhat steady. It follows some kind of pattern that most normal organs do. You can try feeling it by putting the palm of your hand in your chest. You will notice a lub dub pattern due the blood flow that is going on.

In a person with CA, this is not the case. It pumps in a bizarre way. Some are too fast and some are too gradual. Having this sort of pumping will surely change how our system works. In rarity, there are some where it skips a beat or is delayed.

There are specific names of CA depending on the rhythm the heart pumps. If it is sluggish, it formally known as bradycardia. This type is frequently observed on athletes wherein they exercise their hearts to maintain a slow rate for the sport they are in. The second type is called tachycardia, wherein it pumps swiftly. There are some other type of CA but these are the common ones.

Fibrillation is another type of arrhythmia but this is rare and deadly. A person that have this kind of condition, feels a trembling effect on his heart muscles rather than contractions. If this is not treated immediately, it will cause death.

The common cause of arrhythmia are stress, congenital heart disease, use of illegal drugs and aging. This can be prevented by constantly conditioning your vital organs by exercising and proper diet. Do not be alarmed if your it beats a little bit crazy if you are under stress, it is just a normal stress reaction. Some things that affects beating, is palpitations. Keep in mind that this is not related to stress so it would be better if you consult a doctor so they can give you a good overview on what causes it.

We only have one life, and it is very important to make the most out of it. To do so, you have to live a bit longer to experience what you want to experience. Keep a healthy lifestyle. Stress is inevitable, just make sure you handle it carefully so that it would not create complications later on.
