6) Protein is the most important nutrient when striving to grow taller. Proteins are composed of amino acids which are the building blocks of the body. Protein is also important to the different hormones connected with growth.

7) Avoid saturated fats. Saturated fatty acids increase the production of acetate fragments in the body which leads to the production of cholesterol. Cholesterol gets lodged in the blood cells and organs doing all kinds of damage to your body.

8) Lastly, Do not consume alcohol, drugs, or anything else that is proven to be bad for your health. If you wish to gain that inch, you need to do everything you can to assist your body. This means giving up the things that is not conducive to gaining height.
